What is Lumus and who operates it?

Lumus is a learning platform purchased or licensed by your school, academy, or coaching centre. Digitaro Private Limited (Singapore) develops and operates Lumus as a service provider to that institution. You can use Lumus on the web and through the Lumus student/parent mobile app.

What information is collected?

Your school typically creates your account and may send Lumus information such as your name, email, role (student or parent), and school identifiers. When you use Lumus you may also submit classwork (assignments, quizzes, messages, files) and view grades, attendance, invoices (parents), and similar school records.

Who can see my information?

Your school, teachers, and approved administrators control access based on roles. Digitaro uses your information to provide Lumus to you and your school. We do not sell student or parent information, and we do not use school education data to advertise to students or parents.

Who owns my account and data?

For school-provisioned accounts, your institution is the data controller for education records in the tenant. Digitaro processes data under the school's instructions. That is why permanent deletion of a school account usually requires the school's involvement.

How do I request deletion of my information or account?

You can request that Digitaro delete information or an account. If your account was set up by your school, we may need the school's authorization before acting, because we do not own those records.

• Contact your school or academy admin directly, or
• Email labs@digitaro.co with subject line Data Subject Request, including your name, the email on your account, your school or tenant URL, and what you are asking for.

Signing out of the mobile app ends your session on that device; it does not delete your school account.

Children's data

Schools may enroll minors. Digitaro processes children's data only as instructed by the school or guardian-authorized program. Parents or guardians should contact the institution first for access or deletion related to student records.
